One Tree Hill’s fifth season has taken a daring new twist and jumped four years into the future. The characters have graduated college and for some, dreams have come true, but for the unlucky ones they are forced to watch their lives crush in front of them.
Now that all of the characters are back in Tree Hill after Brooke’s return from New York City and Peyton’s return from Los Angeles, the drama has already started. Brooke has everything she could possibly imagine with her incredibly famous fashion line Clothes over Bro’s, but it is still not enough compared to home. Peyton has found herself missing home with a boss who does not take her ideas seriously.
Nathan and Haley’s marriage hangs in the balance yet again after Nathan’s dreams of becoming an NBA star vanish in front of him after an accident. A bar fight has left him in a wheel chair and off the Seattle Sonics. Haley just began teaching at Tree Hill High, but finds it no easy task with disruptive students. With a four year old son to take care of, the couple is still fighting for their life together.
Lucas wrote a novel two years ago but can’t find the words to put another one together. His new girlfriend and editor Lindsay is causing issues between Lucas and Peyton, who dated throughout high school. Lucas has become the Tree Hill Ravens
boys’ basketball head coach and his old friend Skills is the assistant coach. These two coaches have to lead a team who has destroyed the legacy of Whitey Durham, former head coach.
The season has brought in new characters and surprising new twists, but one thing is for sure, this will be a drama filled season and definitely one of the best seasons of One Tree Hill so far.
