Familiar Face: Rohner Becomes New Administrator
By Hope Wahlbrink

This year at RHS there is a familiar face roaming the halls, keeping order throughout the school. Newly named Assistant School Administrator, Bradley Rohner was previously a tenth grade government teacher here at RHS.

Rohner could be considered somewhat of a rookie in the teaching world. With only seven years of experience under his belt, he has proven that hard work does pay off. Last year, Rohner was the social studies resource teacher and AP government teacher. In previous years at RHS he taught Modern World, US History and AP US History. This year, Rohner has taken on a brand new challenge with brand new responsibilities.

Being promoted to Assistant School Administrator, Rohner is now in charge of the entire eleventh grade and part of the tenth grade class. He acts as the test coordinator for RHS, sets up semester exams and HSAs and acts as crowd control in the teeming first floor rotunda. “I’m working with the other assistant principals and the principal to smooth out the wrinkles,” said Rohner.

Rohner is quickly adjusting to his new position at RHS. He meets regularly with RHS Principal Dr. Debra Munk and other members of the RHS administration. Rohner is taking everything in, hoping to incorporate all he learns from the other administrators into RHS to make it a better place.

Rohner has big ideas for the years to come. Striving to change the image of an administrator, Rohner is working hard to better understand and connect with all of the students at RHS, and his young age puts him at an advantage. “I don’t want anyone to be afraid to talk to me...I haven’t been out of the classroom that long. I remember the challenges that students go through,” said Rohner.

With a fresh face in the administration and fresh ideas on the agenda, the RHS community has a lot to look forward to. “I’m glad to be here at [RHS] and I look forward to leading us further into the twenty first century,” said Rohner.
