Many students know that the media center has books for students to read and Internet connections to research projects. What students do not know about the media center is that it has a ton of other various resources available to students.
Forgot to do your homework? The media center has a textbook for every class that RHS offers. The textbooks are very helpful for students who forgot their book or did not realize that they had homework in a certain class. They also have a newspaper for every day of the week so that students can catch up on their current events.
The media center also has some very interesting books that you can read at lunch or at home. Time magazines are available for every year since the 1950s. They really help by showing what people read about in the 1950s. They can help when you have a history project to do on a certain subject. They can give you very important information on that subject.
As many students now know, the media center ahs brand new computers. The computers are available in multiple classrooms in the school. The mew computers are all Dell flat panels. The Dell flat panels include Microsoft Office 2007 and multiple other new programs.
Ever been bored at lunchtime and had nothing better to do? The media center has something for you! The media center has two chess boards that you can play. Many students had plenty of fun last year playing chess. They have a lot of fun and use up the time that they had to just do nothing. The media center had many visitors last year.
The media center has many fans! Many students find it fun to hang out in the media center. There is so much to do and so much time at lunch to do anything. Many students find that the media center helps them when they need homework help or have to finish and assignment. The media center staff is very friendly also. They are very willing to help anyone with anything they need.
