ABC's New Show Is Going To Be A Wipeout
By Marianne Quillen

Do you like swimming, falling in mud, or getting punched in the gut? No, this is not about wrestling pigs. This is about ABC family’s show “Wipeout”. Where people compete to win 50,000 dollars! At eight o’clock on Tuesday nights on ABC family, contestants are going to go for the gold, in this case 50,000 dollars but may just get wiped out on the way. In this new season of “Wipeout”, 32 people compete for that money but only one can win and be the wipeout champion.

Many people entered, including a pro cheerleader, a football player, and the only man that loves to be beaten in competitions. The first round was human pinball where you have to dodge giant pins in the ground. Then get pass the sucker punch wall with fists punching you in the stomach. Cross the giant bouncy balls, and soar across the water on leap of faith and on the finishing platform.

Although you start off in first place, you could end up in last and get wiped out. Nick Ballard learned that the hard way. He came off in first in the leap of faith, but could not get the shape of the cookie cutters and got wiped out. Just goes to show you that even if you end up in first not to get too cocky.

Only four people actually had the skill to pass through. This included the pro cheerleader, the man who loves being beat by girls, the oldest competitor, and the skinniest man in the competition. They faced the wipeout zone. They had to surf down killer surf, cross 3 spinning triangles, spin on and off of the spinner, and get across the bar of blast off while being pelted by water from all sides.
